Ecomfort House Sponge Wipe – Summer Village - Large
This eco-friendly dish drying mat combines exceptional absorbency, quick-dry performance, and a delicate Nordic-inspired design by Japanese textile artist Rieko Oka of Ten-to-Sen. Printed in Sweden and made in Germany from sustainable cellulose and cotton, the mat transforms when moistened—absorbing more than 10 times its weight in water. Lightweight, space-saving, and hygienic, it replaces bulky dish racks for compact kitchens. Soft to the touch, it cushions delicate dishware without scratches. Beyond the kitchen, it doubles as a large eco-cloth for wiping spills, bathrooms, or windows. At the end of its life, it returns to the earth, fully biodegradable.
Artist Introduction
Rieko Oka founded Ten-to-Sen (点と線模様製作所) in Hokkaido in 2008. Her work is inspired by the subtle beauty of plants, the quiet of snow, and the sound of rain—capturing nature’s poetry in textile patterns that speak to everyday life.
