Stationery Stores in Seoul
Recently I traveled to Seoul! I had never been to Korea before, so this was my first time. I was only there for two days, and my friends in Seoul recommended the following shops to me. I wish I could've stayed longer and visited even more!
Rolledpaint
This is the washi tape shop that's been all over social media lately, and it's easy to see why.
The moment you step in, you're greeted by a wall entirely covered in tape, arranged so beautifully that the whole store photographs well from any angle. What's worth mentioning is that you can pick up a blank bookmark and collage your favorite washi tapes onto it to bring home, like a little souvenir.
The staff even decorate your bag of goods like a piece of art before you leave.
Some of the items are available here in our shop!
Little Tempo
A warm, cozy shop centered on original character designs. The product range is varied, but the postcards stand out most: they incorporate Korea's local architecture into the design. I'm especially fond of their Ajassi line, a character meant to represent an "ordinary citizen" who enjoys good food, seasonal trips, and animals. The designer created him to be oddly charming, a little funny, and easy to love.
Zero Space
A local favorite, known for a wall entirely dedicated to stickers, art prints, fridge magnets, and phone stands, organized into series such as city and animal themes. The overall art style is calming and gentle. Worth noting: there's a dedicated Miffy section that's hard to resist. This shop makes for excellent gift shopping.
Hooka Hooka Studio
An original IP character concept store with a soft, low-saturation color palette throughout. Beyond journaling supplies, it also carries home goods and plush charms, with every corner thoughtfully styled.
Pa,Pr!
The offline home of the analogue keeper, focused on simple, minimalist-style journaling products in soft, gentle colors. Each item is displayed with a styled real-life example nearby, so you can see exactly how it looks in use.
Checkout comes with a nice touch too, staff wrap your purchase in a distinctive envelope. There's also a table and chairs set up for in-store journaling, so if you have time, you can sit down and start collaging on the spot.
Object
If Seoul is your first stop, this is the store to start with. A four-floor concept shop where each level has its own purpose: the 1st floor rotates through artist pop-up events (very photogenic), the 2nd and 3rd floors are packed with artist-made journaling goods and general stationery, and the 4th floor is a DIY zone filled with adorable patterns and charms.
Budget 1–2 hours to really take it all in, the curation on every floor shows how much care went into it.
My Personal Favorite
Point of View
A three-story stationery store where every floor has its own distinct style and product range. You'll find original in-house designs alongside collaboration and collector's items.
Some pieces come with a higher price tag, but the vintage-leaning displays make the whole visit feel less like shopping and more like walking through an immersive stationery exhibition.
