Rakui Hana
Hana Rakui has been carving stamps by hand since 2007, working in linoleum, a material used in fine-art printmaking. Her work centers on two forms: stamps fitted with oak handles, and multicolor prints made with oil paint. The stamps capture mildly humorous scenes in fine lines, while the prints have a nostalgic color palette.
