Tsugaru Vidro

Tsugaru Vidro is a traditional glassware craft from Aomori Prefecture, rooted in the concept of "handmade glass that embodies Japan’s four seasons." Originating from Hokuyo Glass, which began in 1949 producing floating glass buoys for the fishing industry, the brand applied its air-blowing techniques to create Tsugaru Vidro glassware in 1977. Each piece is expertly crafted by artisans, blending color, form, and tradition to reflect Japan’s ever-changing natural beauty.
