The Hobonichi Graph Notebook was introduced in 2019 for those looking for a standard notebook with the same comfortable writing experience as the Hobonichi Techo. This edition features artwork by beloved picture book author and illustrator Keiko Shibata.
The “Who is it?” design captures a charming everyday moment as a group of cats notice a visitor arriving at their home. Some peek through the doorway while others watch from outside the window, creating a playful scene full of curiosity and personality. The warm oil-pastel artwork gives the cover a cozy, storybook feel.
The back cover is bright red, echoing the front door in the illustration, and features Keiko Shibata’s signature.
Inside, the notebook uses thin yet durable Tomoe River paper and opens completely flat for comfortable writing and drawing. The 3.7 mm graph paper matches the grid used in the Hobonichi Techo Original. The page ink color changes every 72 pages, rotating through red, blue, green, and purple, making it easy to organize different sections or quickly find past notes.
The notebook is a wonderful companion to a Hobonichi Techo, or a versatile standalone notebook for writing, journaling, sketching, and everyday notes.

United States Shipping
We offer free standard shipping on U.S. orders over $55.
For orders under $55, a flat $7 USD shipping fee applies.

Canada Shipping
Free shipping on orders over $120 USD (Canada only).
Orders under $120 will be charged shipping at checkout.
Shipping rates are based on package weight and are calculated in real time at checkout. Starting June 13, 2025, we’re covering 10% of the shipping cost to Canada—this discount is already reflected in the rates shown at the checkout.

UPS often charges a high brokerage fee. We strongly recommend choosing USPS First-Class —while it may take a bit longer to arrive, it typically avoids those extra fees.
