Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Frederick in 2027, this design captures the quiet charm of the little field mouse who spends his time gathering “sun rays,” “colors,” and “words” while the other mice prepare for winter.
The “Poet” design features Frederick sitting quietly with his back to you against a clean white background inspired by the pages of a picture book. Bright poppy flowers and a red spine add a striking touch of color. The cover has a textured, canvas-like finish and a lightweight hardcover construction with a little flexibility. The year “2027” is foil-pressed in red on the front and white on the spine.
The back cover features the handwritten “Frederick” lettering from the original picture book, printed in bright silver-gray ink. The thoughtful design leaves plenty of room for imagination, inviting you to wonder what Frederick might be thinking as he looks out into the world.
Inside, the Weeks features thin, lightweight, and durable Tomoe River paper that provides a smooth writing experience and holds ink beautifully. It includes monthly calendars, weekly planning pages, and plenty of grid-lined memo space. A clear, adhesive corner pocket is also included for convenient storage.
